Anger Management

What is Anger Management?

Anger Management counseling will help you learn what “triggers” your anger, become more aware of your emotional state when you get angry or frustrated and learn tools and strategies you can use right away to help you express anger and frustration in healthy, constructive ways.

Some of the techniques that are used in anger management counseling include:

  • Impulse control
  • Anger awareness
  • Relaxation strategies
  • Assertive communication
  • Stress and anxiety management

I provide individual and couple sessions. Homework and exercises may be assigned to strengthen the techniques learned in sessions and to practice them in day-to-day situations.
